Fishing on 29th of December

Well, since the year is coming to an end, I thought I might as well do some fishing cos i haven been doing so since the birth of my daughter a year ago... Turns out to be a forgettable experience!!

Well things were fine when i set out in my trusty red Kangoo and hopes were high that i might just get a catch today but alas it was not to be.

Scene 1

Reached the Fish shop at Jurong West and found that today's supply of Live prawns were out! What a good start i thought! As I set off late for the trip, I did not have any contingency plans for sold out prawns. Not to be deterred, I decided to buy live milk fish at Joe's fishing in Bugis...

Scene 2

Reached the shop just as they were closing and no prize for guessing what happened. All milk fish were sold out!! Had to settle for frozen Tamban instead (this is not exactly my favourite bait). However i got no choice so got a packet of frozen Tamban and off i went.







The place that I have decided to fish at is at Tanjong Rhu. In case you do not know this place it is where Cosy Bay is. I have not come here to fish for quite some time already so i thought i might as well come and give it a shot. My friend Weijie had caught a 1-2kg Barramundi or Seabass on our last trip here. I had a small sting ray then.

Scene 3

Once i reached the roundabout at the end, I parked my car and got my gears ready. This is when i realised that i left my fishing box at HOME!!! How to fish??? So i thought of calling my fishing kakis and asked if anyone was free to join me. AND!!! i realised i did not bring my handphone!! What a bad day!!!Well, i had to call off the trip and head back home with my packet of frozen Tamban!!!
